Competitions
Competition is one of the best ways to practice skills you will need in your future. Examples include case studies, role plays, business plans and pitches, advertising presentations, market research plans, virtual simulations, stock market challenges and more.
Adviser Mary Van Dyke said, "My favorite thing to do as an adviser is to help students find their strengths and practice their skills in competition. These competitive conferences give students an opportunity to travel, network, and have fun!"
Joining DECA
Students join DECA at the beginning of the semester in which they have a marketing class. All BTEC marketing students join DECA through their chapter advisor.Students are welcomed into DECA with open arms. Before you know it, you will find each other becoming a family. The friendships that have grown over the years have proven to be one of the biggest benefits of joining. You've got a FRIEND in DECA.
